    "measurementTechnique": "One registry search per name each molecule is filed under, unioned by NCT id. A study counts only where the registry's own title or an intervention name says the drug goes through skin; the matching word is stored per study so the decision can be audited. Registrations failing an authenticity check are quarantined before any count. Molecular weights are read from each molecule's PubChem compound record, which the registry does not carry.",

      "A registered study is not evidence that a drug works, and none of these molecules has an approved product that goes through skin.",
      "A zero in registered_transdermal_studies means the registry returned no study of that molecule delivered through skin, under the names searched. It is a real answer, not a gap.",
      "Four more molecules were searched and returned nothing at all: liraglutide, exenatide, dulaglutide, insulin. They have no row because they have no study, and their absence is recorded here instead.",
      "Sponsors submit and update registry records themselves. The National Library of Medicine does not check them before they appear.",
      "molecular_weight_g_per_mol and pubchem_cid come from PubChem, not from the trial registry. Every other column comes from the registry."
