Methodology

Editorial policy

This editorial policy explains where our numbers come from, how we describe them, how we fix mistakes, and what we will not take money for.

The sourcing tier system

Each number gets a label from A to E for how good the evidence behind it is — an FDA-approved label at one end, no human study at all at the other. The five labels and what they mean are set out on How we source.

The citation gate

Every dose, half-life and expiry figure is stored with the document it came from and the day we read it. If one of them loses its source, the site fails to build. That is the whole mechanism.

The framing ladder

The wording has to match the evidence. A label gets quoted. A trial gets described — what it gave people, never as a dose to copy. Anything thinner is attributed to whoever uses it, with the limit named. Nothing here tells you what to do.

Corrections

Found a number that does not match its source, a stale regulatory entry, or a dead link? Email contact@healthspanledger.com. Confirmed fixes get applied with a dated note on the page, so you can see what changed.

Commercial independence

  • We do not link to anywhere that sells the compounds we write about.
  • Nobody can pay to change a number, a grade or a sentence.
  • No gray-market advertising, ever.

Medical review scope

A reviewer’s name appears only on pages she actually read, with the date. What that review covers, and what it does not, is on the Medical review page.
