What sends a note

Five things, all of them events in a public record rather than opinions of ours.

A shortage status changes

FDA’s shortage list is what decides whether compounding a copy of a drug is lawful. When a drug goes on or comes off it, the legal position changes that day.

A new FDA side-effect snapshot

We re-pull the FAERS counts behind the dosing-error study. The note says what moved and by how much, with the query printed.

The trial pipeline moves

A phase 3 reads out, a study completes, a compound gets an approval decision date. Facts from ClinicalTrials.gov, dated.

A label is revised

When FDA changes an approved label, the numbers on this site change with it. The note says which page changed and what the old value was.

We got something wrong

Corrections go out to the list as well as onto the page. A correction nobody sees is not a correction.

What it never is

  • No dosing guidance. The notes report what a public record says, never what anyone should take.
  • No products, no vendors, no affiliate links.
  • Nothing sent on a schedule for its own sake. If the data did not move, there is no note.
  • Your address is never sold, rented or shared with an advertiser.

Joining takes two steps on purpose. You give an address, we mail a link, and you are on the list only once you open it. Until then nothing about you is stored — not a pending record, not a timestamp. It also means a mistyped address belonging to a stranger does nothing at all.

What we keep afterwards is the address, the page you signed up from, and the date. Not what you calculated, not what you read. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe, and your mail app’s own unsubscribe button works too.
