Privacy policy
Most of HealthspanLedger can be used without signing in. We use no advertising identifiers and do not sell personal data. This page describes the small amount of data the site does handle, in plain language.
Clinic operator accounts
Reading an article, using a calculator and reporting a clinic correction do not require an account. Clinic operators can create an account to request control of a listing. Clerk handles sign-in and keeps the authentication details needed to secure that account. An account does not make a clinic claim true and does not let its owner overwrite a public record without review.
Clinic correction and removal reports
A clinic report stores the clinic name, the listing or clinic website, the exact public business fact you want checked, the source link, your email address, an optional contact name, the submission time and the review status. It also creates a receipt number so the report can be found without showing its contents.
We use the contact address only to clarify the report. We do not ask for patient names, diagnoses, records, treatment details or dosing information, and those details should not be submitted. A report enters a private review queue; it never changes a listing by itself and is not published.
Calculator telemetry
The reconstitution calculator records first-party, anonymous usage events so we can see which compounds and configurations people actually calculate. An event contains:
- the compound selected,
- vial size, water volume, and dose entered,
- the syringe type chosen,
- the computed result.
An event does not contain your name, an email address, an IP address, or any advertising identifier. We do not store a browser-session identifier or the page referrer with the event. We do not store IP addresses with telemetry, and we cannot connect a calculation back to a person.
Clinic booking links
When you choose a booking link on a public clinic profile, we record the clinic, service, city market, and part of the page where you chose it. This tells us whether a listing helped someone reach the clinic. The event has no name, email address, free-text answer, dose, diagnosis, or patient record.
The clinic destination comes from our checked listing record; the link does not accept a destination typed by a visitor. Vercel processes the event as our hosting and analytics provider. Automated requests and local development visits are excluded from the event.
Optional email for dose cards
If you ask for a dose card by email, the card is built and sent in that moment. What we keep afterwards is the address and the date — not the vial, the dose, or anything else you entered. Asking for a card does not put you on any mailing list. We never sell email addresses, and we never share them with advertisers.
The sourcing updates list
Joining takes two steps. You give an address, we email a confirmation link, and you are on the list only once you open it. Until then nothing is stored: no pending record, no timestamp, nothing. An address that never confirms leaves no trace with us.
Once you confirm, we store three things: the address, the page you signed up from, and the date. We do not store what you calculated, what you read, or anything about your health. Nothing on this list is personalized, and it carries no tracking pixel.
Sending runs on Resend, which holds the address as our email provider and processes it on our behalf. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and the unsubscribe button your own mail app shows works too. Unsubscribing stops the sending; to have the stored address deleted as well, use the address below.
Cookies
The site sets no third-party advertising cookies today. If that ever changes, this policy will change first, with a dated note.
Hosting and infrastructure
The site is hosted on Vercel, which — like any web host — keeps standard server logs as part of operating the platform. Newsletter records currently run on Supabase. Clinic records and clinic correction reports run on Neon Postgres, and clinic sign-in runs on Clerk. These companies process data on our behalf as infrastructure providers; none is given data for advertising.
Your right to deletion
If you have given us an email address and want it deleted, write to contact@healthspanledger.com and we will remove it. Because calculator telemetry is anonymous, there is nothing there to connect to you — but if you have any question about data we hold, the same address reaches us.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page and its effective date. We will not quietly expand what we collect.
