Mounjaro dosage chart

Mounjaro starts at 2.5 mg once weekly. Its adult maximum is 15 mg once weekly. This chart reports the label, not a personal dosing plan. A clinician decides which dose suits a person.

Dose steps and minimum intervals

The label permits 2.5 mg increases after at least 4 weeks on the current dose, only if additional blood sugar control is needed. These rows are not an automatic schedule.

Where the label allows a dose to stay

The Mounjaro label names no set of maintenance dosages. Further increases depend on the need for additional blood sugar control, with at least 4 weeks on the current dose.

For children and teenagers aged 10–17 with type 2 diabetes, the maximum is 10 mg once weekly. The adult maximum is 15 mg once weekly.

A missed week

The label says a missed dose can be given within 4 days, which is 96 hours. Past 4 days it says to skip that week and go back to the usual day.

Changing the weekly day

The label allows the weekly day to move as long as two doses stay at least 3 days, or 72 hours, apart.
