The label does not publish an early-results date or a week-by-week forecast. It reports an average 13.6% change at 64 weeks for the daily tablet, 14.9% at 68 weeks for the 2.4 mg pen, and 18.8% at 72 weeks for the 7.2 mg pen in three separate trial groups.

The evidence clock
What is known at 16, 64, 68 and 72 weeks
Some weeks show a dose change and others show a study result. They are not the same thing. Week 16 has no weight result because the label does not publish one there.
Week 0
Treatment starts
Protocol
The weekly pen starts at 0.25 mg and the daily tablet starts at 1.5 mg. These are dosing markers, not measured weight-loss results.
Week 16
The standard pen finishes its planned climb
Not published
The label does not publish an early-results date. Week 16 marks the end of the 2.4 mg pen’s standard escalation in the original trials, not the first time a person should notice a change.
Week 64
The daily tablet’s final study result
Measured
−13.6% mean change with the 25 mg tablet
This is the Study 7 group average in adults without type 2 diabetes. The placebo group changed −2.4%.
Week 68
The original 2.4 mg pen’s final study result
Measured
−14.9% mean change with the 2.4 mg pen
This is the Study 2 group average in adults without type 2 diabetes. The placebo group changed −2.4%.
Week 72
The higher-dose pen endpoint
Measured
−18.8% at 7.2 mg · −15.5% at 2.4 mg
These are Study 8 group averages in adults with obesity and without type 2 diabetes. The placebo group changed −3.9%.

Which Wegovy result belongs to which form?
Wegovy is now a weekly pen and a daily tablet, and the weekly pen has more than one maintenance strength. These are not interchangeable result claims. Each table keeps the form, dose, population, placebo arm and final visit attached to the number that produced it.

The questions people actually ask
When do Wegovy results start?
How long does Wegovy take to work?
The FDA label does not set one day or week when a person should notice a result. It shows the dose climb and later group endpoints, but those answer different questions. The first dose begins exposure; it does not create a promised visible-result date.
How much weight did people lose in the first month?
The label does not publish a one-month group mean for these three trials. Dividing a 64-, 68- or 72-week average into equal monthly pieces would invent a steady rate the trials did not report.
Does the 7.2 mg result apply to everyone taking a Wegovy pen?
No. The 18.8% figure comes from the 7.2 mg arm of Study 8. The standard 2.4 mg arm in that same trial averaged 15.5%, and 7.2 mg is not the starting dose.
Can the pen and pill percentages be compared directly?
Only cautiously. The tablet and pen results came from separate trials with different durations and participants. Their numbers can be placed side by side, but the label did not randomize one shared group between the pill and pen.
