What is Zepbound approved to treat?

Adults with obesity, or with overweight plus at least one related health condition.

Labeled maintenance: 5 mg, 10 mg or 15 mg once weekly

Adults with obesity and moderate to severe sleep apnea.

Labeled maintenance: 10 mg or 15 mg once weekly

Not an approved use: FDA has not approved Zepbound for type 2 diabetes or anyone under 18. The label also rules out use with another tirzepatide product or any GLP-1 receptor agonist.

Zepbound and Mounjaro both contain tirzepatide. Zepbound is approved for weight-related care. Mounjaro is approved for type 2 diabetes. Their dose plans are not the same.
