How to reconstitute Semax 30 mg

In this example, 1 mL of bacteriostatic water in a 30 mg Semax vial gives 30.00 mg/mL. An example 6 mg amount is then 20.0 units on a U-100 syringe.

This example lands on a syringe line. More water makes a weaker mix and a bigger draw. Less water makes a stronger mix and a smaller one. The amount of Semax stays the same. Use the diluent and volume specified for your product; the arithmetic alone does not choose them.

Straight arithmetic: concentration = 30 mg ÷ liquid volume, and 1 U-100 unit = 0.01 mL. The example column shows the math at 6 mg; it is not a dose recommendation.

What is Semax?

Semax is a peptide seven amino acids long, copied from a short stretch of a stress hormone. It carries none of that hormone’s own activity.

How many units is a documented dose from this vial?

The table above uses one worked example. These are the published quantities, converted into marks on a U-100 barrel at each listed liquid volume for a 30 mg vial. Where a quantity was never studied by injection, the row says so.

6 mg a day, in two courses of ten days separated by twenty days, into the nose. (110 patients at different stages after an ischemic stroke, mean age 58; the study also reported a brain-growth-factor marker in the blood rising alongside recovery scores).

12 mg — studied in a trial

12 mg a day as a 1% solution, in two courses of ten days two weeks apart, into the nose. (27 patients; the report calls itself open-label. It states that Semax did not change the course of the disease, with a difference showing only on a quality-of-life total).

This is the larger of the two vial strengths. Every water option fits in a U-100 syringe and lands exactly on a line. The vial contains five complete portions at the worked amount.

Both volume examples end on whole units

Both listed volumes give a reading that sits on a syringe line, so the choice between them is about how much liquid goes under the skin rather than about whether the number can be read.

The larger liquid volume halves the concentration and doubles the draw for the same mass. This ratio does not predict injection force, comfort or whether the preparation is suitable for that route.

Five portions without a product use-by date

The vial divides into five complete portions at the worked amount, compared with one in the smaller example. Those counts do not establish how long either preparation could be stored or used.

No use-by date is assigned to this worked preparation. The number of calculated draws is known; the usable storage window is not.

The quantity is real and it belongs to another product

The worked amount was published and given to a stated number of patients, making it better supported than a range based only on reported practice.

It was given as drops into the nose from the study product, in work on stroke recovery. That source does not validate a research powder for injection or supply mixing instructions for this example.

How do you mix it, step by step?

Wipe both stoppers with an alcohol swab and let them dry.
Check the product’s mixing instructions for the correct diluent and volume before drawing it up.
Let the water run slowly down the inside wall of the Semax vial, rather than jetting it onto the powder.
Follow the product’s instructions for mixing and checking the solution before use. Do not assume every powder uses the same method.
Store it as the dispensing label directs. What happens after mixing differs by product — some labels direct against refrigerating the mixed solution at all.
