Several brands in this set ship in more than one form, and the answer changes between those forms. So the brand on the box is not what settles it. The device inside is.
What each label says
Match the exact device on the carton. Single-dose pens and syringes carry their needle; multi-dose pens may include detachable needles or require you to supply them.

What needle size do the labels specify?
Ozempic and Wegovy include 32G, 4 mm needles with their multi-dose pens. Their labels allow compatible needles up to 8 mm, and Saxenda also specifies needles up to 8 mm.

A size from one device should not be assumed for another. For each device with detachable needles, the label says to use a fresh one for every injection and never share pens or needles.
What the labels do settle: which barrel, and what a mark on it is worth
Why the vial version needs more from you
A pen holds a mechanism that measures the dose. A vial holds liquid. Everything the pen does for you has to be done with a syringe instead, and the syringe is not supplied.
This is not a small difference and our own report-stream study measured it. Across the FDA side-effect data, the drugs people draw from a vial carry far more dosing-error reports than the ones that arrive in a dialed pen. The arithmetic a vial demands is where those reports come from.
