What does Saxenda cost if your plan covers it?
Novo Nordisk’s Saxenda page says the offer was discontinued for new enrollees on the final day of June 2023. It says only offers activated and redeemed on or before that date kept benefits through the final day of December 2023. Its own eligibility URL for the Saxenda card now lands on that notice. A sibling page has not caught up, and still advertises paying as little as $25 or saving up to $200 a prescription. Both pages are live, and we are reporting the one that names a date.
The Saxenda Savings Offer is closed. Novo Nordisk’s support page says it closed to new enrollees on the final day of June 2023. Offers activated and redeemed by that date retained benefits through the final day of December 2023. Another checked Novo Nordisk page still displays the old offer. Those conflicting pages do not establish an active savings program.

What does Saxenda cost without insurance?
Novo Nordisk publishes $1,349.02 as the Saxenda list price, on a page it titles “List price explained”. The page defines list price as the price before discounts or rebates. It says out-of-pocket cost depends on insurance coverage.

Actual plan payments may differ from the list price. The checked Orange Book places three marketed liraglutide ANDAs in AP2, the same ingredient, strength, dosage form/route and TE-code group as Saxenda NDA206321-001. Saxenda is the sole row in that group marked RLD and RS; each generic row is marked No for both. The Orange Book group is separate from the checked label responses and pharmacy inventory.
Novo Nordisk publishes no cash price for Saxenda.

What if you are on Medicare?
Saxenda is not in the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge. Medicare’s covered list names Foundayo, Wegovy and the Zepbound KwikPen, and no liraglutide product appears on it.
Saxenda is a weight drug and still outside the Bridge. Medicare names Foundayo, Wegovy and the Zepbound KwikPen as the drugs it covers at $50 a month, and Saxenda is on none of those lines. The checked manufacturer page says its savings offer is closed to new enrollees. It does not establish whether another assistance route is available; Part D coverage depends on the plan.
