Novo Nordisk prints a list price for Saxenda of $1,349.02 and closed its savings offer to new sign-ups in 2023. So the published price is the price.

Every price here was read from the manufacturer’s own program terms on 2026-08-13. Those terms say they can change at any time, without notice. The terms name no end date, which is not the same as lasting: the same terms let the manufacturer change or drop the offer whenever it likes.
What does Saxenda cost if your plan covers it?
The offer is shut. Novo Nordisk’s Saxenda page says the offer closed to new enrollees in 2023, and that people already holding one kept it only into the following year. Its own eligibility URL for the Saxenda card now lands on that notice. A sibling page has not caught up, and still advertises paying as little as $25 or saving up to $200 a prescription. Both pages are live, and we are reporting the one that names a date.
The Saxenda Savings Offer is closed. Novo Nordisk’s own page says the program was discontinued for new enrollees in 2023, and that anyone already holding one kept the benefit only into the following year. A second Novo Nordisk page still advertises the old terms, which is a contradiction inside one company’s website rather than a choice a reader gets to make.

What is the list price of Saxenda?
Novo Nordisk publishes one, which most manufacturers here do not. It is the price before any rebate, and it is what the same company says an uninsured reader may end up paying.

What does Saxenda cost without insurance?
This is the rare case where the manufacturer answers plainly. Novo Nordisk publishes $1,349.02 as the Saxenda list price, on a page it titles “List price explained”. It also says outright that someone with no health plan may pay that price, plus whatever the pharmacy adds.
Two things about that figure are worth holding. It is a price before any rebate, so it is not what an insurer pays. And liraglutide has approved generics behind it, some of which are generics of THIS product. Read off their own labels, several carry the same chronic weight management wording Saxenda does, while the rest carry Victoza’s diabetes wording. Which one a pharmacy stocks decides whether a cheaper liraglutide is a cheaper Saxenda, and no public file records that.
Novo Nordisk publishes no cash price for Saxenda.
There is no discounted cash lane for Saxenda. What Novo Nordisk publishes instead is the list price. Its own answer for a reader with no health plan is that they may pay that price, plus whatever the pharmacy adds. It is the closest thing to a cash price this product has, and it is recorded above as what it is.
What if you are on Medicare?
Saxenda is not in the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge. Medicare’s covered list names Foundayo, Wegovy and the Zepbound KwikPen, and no liraglutide product appears on it.
Saxenda is a weight drug and still outside the Bridge. Medicare names Foundayo, Wegovy and the Zepbound KwikPen as the drugs it covers at $50 a month, and Saxenda is on none of those lines. With no manufacturer offer either, a Medicare reader here has no program at all to route through, and the question falls back to whether a Part D plan covers weight-management drugs.

What makes Saxenda different on price
Saxenda is the one product here whose manufacturer publishes a number and no way to pay less than it. Its own support page also opens with a supply warning. Novo Nordisk says filling a Saxenda prescription may be hard for the foreseeable future, and gives a hotline for it.
Saxenda is liraglutide from Novo Nordisk, approved under NDA 206321. Its price ladder tracks its dose ladder, which starts at 0.6 mg and stops at 3 mg. That is why a quote taken in your first month is a quote for a dose you are meant to leave.
