How to reconstitute Mazdutide 10 mg

In this example, 1 mL of bacteriostatic water in a 10 mg Mazdutide vial gives 10.00 mg/mL. An example 4 mg amount is then 40.0 units on a U-100 syringe.

This example lands on a syringe line. More water makes a weaker mix and a bigger draw. Less water makes a stronger mix and a smaller one. The amount of Mazdutide stays the same. Use the diluent and volume specified for your product; the arithmetic alone does not choose them.

What is Mazdutide?

Mazdutide is a once-weekly injection that works on two hormone receptors at once, GLP-1 and glucagon. It is the same class idea as tirzepatide, with a different second target.

How many units is a documented dose from this vial?

The table above uses one worked example. These are the published quantities, converted into marks on a U-100 barrel at each listed liquid volume for a 10 mg vial. Where a quantity was never studied by injection, the row says so.

4–6 mg — studied in a trial

4–6 mg once weekly, stepped up from 2 mg in four-week stages, under the skin.

4–6 mg once weekly for 24 weeks against placebo, then 24 weeks of open treatment, under the skin. A separate trial ran the same doses against dulaglutide.

One mazdutide vial strength is used as a worked example. At the worked amount, both water options fit a U-100 syringe and land on a syringe line. Higher trial amounts may not fit at the larger water volume.

The worked amount divides evenly into this vial. That is only a property of these numbers and changes as soon as the vial strength or dose changes.

Go up a step and the larger volume runs out of barrel

The studied amounts rise well above the worked example. With the larger water option, higher amounts exceed a U-100 syringe and the highest needs nearly twice its capacity.

The less concentrated example reaches the barrel’s limit sooner as the entered amount rises. The warning is about this calculation’s capacity, not an instruction to choose a different dilution or split an injection.

How do you mix it, step by step?

Wipe both stoppers with an alcohol swab and let them dry.
Check the product’s mixing instructions for the correct diluent and volume before drawing it up.
Let the water run slowly down the inside wall of the Mazdutide vial, rather than jetting it onto the powder.
Follow the product’s instructions for mixing and checking the solution before use. Do not assume every powder uses the same method.
Store it as the dispensing label directs. What happens after mixing differs by product — some labels direct against refrigerating the mixed solution at all.
