Sellers offer three peptides on this site for skin. The one with the most research behind it is a cream ingredient, not an injection.

That distinction decides most of this page. A molecule studied on the surface of the skin for thirty years tells you very little about the same molecule in a syringe. The dose is different, the route is different, and what reaches the tissue is different.

Most searches for skin peptides mean cosmetic ingredients in creams and serums. This comparison instead covers three compounds sold as vials; topical skincare peptides are covered separately.

The cosmetic clearance is not evidence, and it is doing the selling

GHK-Cu is a known cosmetic ingredient under the name copper tripeptide-1. That framework asks whether an ingredient is safe on skin. It does not ask whether it works, and it does not ask anything at all about a needle.

So the strongest-sounding fact about the most-bought skin peptide is a statement about creams. It is a recognized, long-used skin ingredient, and the product riding on that fact is a vial. One US regulator has looked at the injection specifically, and FDA’s entry covers injectable routes explicitly.

The plainest evidence on this page cuts against the pitch. When researchers tested the copper peptide blind against a control and measured it objectively, it did not win. That result is thirty years old and nobody has overturned it.

Nobody has published an injected skin dose

For all three rows, no study has set a quantity to inject for a skin purpose. The LL-37 work that reached skin used a preparation put on an ulcer or into a tumor deposit, at strengths chosen for those settings.

KPV has no published human evidence. FDA looked for exposure data and found none; that is different from a human study finding no effect.
