Peptides for sleep
Sellers offer five peptides on this site for sleep. Only one has a human study that measured sleep itself.

The other four are growth-hormone peptides, and their sleep claim comes from the hormone rather than from anyone’s sleep. Deep sleep and growth hormone do rise together naturally. No study on those four pages ran that backwards and measured whether the peptide improved sleep.
The one exception has published human evidence, but it is still thin. Each row separates reported practice from published research.

Five compounds, and what each study measured
Only one row has sleep itself in the right-hand column. The other four measured a hormone that rises during sleep, which is a different thing.

The one with real sleep data is the one nobody optimized
DSIP takes its name from what it appeared to do. Researchers pulled delta sleep-inducing peptide out of the blood of rabbits in slow-wave sleep in 1977. The 1980s work that followed is the only place on this page where anyone measured a person’s sleep.
It is also a warning about reading old, small, open-label work as settled. Those studies put it into a vein, in a sleep laboratory, in groups of a few dozen. Nobody repeated them to a standard that would support approval anywhere. Sellers ship it today as a powder for injection under the skin.
There is one live regulatory thread. FDA listed it under the generic name emideltide for a compounding-committee review in July 2026, with chronic insomnia among the uses under review. That review asks whether pharmacists may compound it at all. It is not an approval and it is not a finding that it works.
Growth hormone is not a sleep measurement
Four of the five rows rest on the same reasoning. Deep sleep releases growth hormone, so a compound that raises growth hormone should deepen sleep. The arrow in the published work points the other way, from sleep to hormone.
No study on any of those four pages used a sleep diary, a sleep laboratory or any other sleep endpoint. No evidence contradicts the claim. Nobody has tested it, on all four.
